Cookie policy
Invoice Minute uses only strictly necessary cookies — the small files a website needs to keep you signed in and to keep forms secure. We set no advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind, and no third party sets cookies on our pages. That’s also why you don’t see a cookie banner: UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) only requires consent for cookies that aren’t essential to the service you’ve asked for.
The cookies we set
| Cookie | Purpose | Lasts | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| __Host-sid | Keeps you signed in to your account. | Up to 60 days (or until you log out) | Strictly necessary |
| __Host-mfa | Remembers that you passed the first sign-in step while we ask for your two-factor code. | 5 minutes | Strictly necessary |
| acsrf | Protects forms you submit before logging in (e.g. the login form itself) against cross-site request forgery. | 6 hours | Strictly necessary |
| flash | Carries a one-time status message (e.g. “Settings saved”) to the next page, then deletes itself. | 60 seconds | Strictly necessary |
All cookies are HttpOnly (JavaScript cannot read them), Secure (HTTPS only) and SameSite — they are never used to track you across other sites and contain no personal data, only random identifiers.
Third parties
If you upgrade to Pro, payment happens on Stripe’s checkout pages, which set their own cookies under Stripe’s privacy policy. No Stripe cookies are set while you browse Invoice Minute itself.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time — but because every cookie we set is essential, blocking them will stop you from logging in. Guidance for common browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
